Quote re Smaug in The Hobbit

Anne Richardson - one of the journalists who interviewed Benedict along with several others was kind enough to send me a transcript of what Benedict said and there was a small snippet re Smaug in The Hobbit which I hadn’t seen reported.

I think my eye might open at the end of the first film and then you’ll get the rest of me in the second.

Given that the second film may be called The Hobbit:The Desolation of Smaug that sounds about right.

Of course the interview took place before the film was split into 3 so his appearances may be more evenly spaced.
