Is that the London Oscar’s or American? Some people glue told me there were two: in London and the US of A.

We don’t have the Oscars. There’s only 1 set of those. We have the BAFTAs and there are two ceremonies - one for film which was weekend before last and at which Tinker Tailor won best British Film and best screenplay (Benedict wasnt nominated and didnt attend) and the tv BAFTAs (these are also separated out into two ceremonies as rather insulting things likes direction, writing and music are included in the craft awards rather than the main awards). These nominations aren’t until April and they are the ones we would be hoping Benedict and Martin get nominated for.

Benedict will be attending the Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday presumably to support Tinker Tailor and War Horse. He is not nominated for anything and as far as I’m aware will not be presenting any awards (not yet high profile enough in the States- next year!)
